This session ended on 14 Kythorn 1372 game-time and was played on 15 June 2002(?)

Now, back to the other party. To fill in the gap between their encounter with the invaders of Citadel Rashemen and the arrival of Aeron and Matthias. Here is Cecil, Wan, Karn and Rurick's story.

So the fight with the invaders ends. Two invaders are tied up to be questioned. After breif questioning the captives either refuse to release any information or genuinely don't hold any, so our party releases them to the city guards. Shortly thereafter, an arrow with a note attached sticks into the ground near Cecil's feet. He picks it up and reads it: "Mulsantir docks. Two Weeks. Information. All the answers." It's signed "Roet".

After this note is recieved, our party deliberates. What should they do? They debate whether or not to meet with Roet or wait for Aeron and Matthias. In the end they decide to meet with Roet and have Franch tell Aeron and Matthias, if they were to return, that they would be back shortly.

That night, however, another message is recieved. Cecil meets with a mysterious man in an alley who says that Roet must see him. They must go. This solidifies their decision. They head out later.

They arrive in Mulsantir. They scope out the docks. They prepare to be ambushed. They prepare for every surprise they can think of. Then they wait for their meeting. A man comes at nightfall and summons them to a basement room where they meet with Roet himself. Roet tells them of the deeper troubles Faerun has fallen into.

Apparently, the "Shadow Army" has returned. They have begun to amass forces across the land. Their efforts have been focused on retreiving the most powerful auras from across the land. Roet says that these auras are to be used for a dark and sinister purpose, to raise the long lost City of Shade. Roet says they must be stopped. And that is all.

Our party them returns to Citadel Rashemen and then Aeron and Matthias finally return. Matthias says they have the Halco stone. Aeron convinces Matthias that they shouldn't give the real stone to Franch. Whose to say that he isn't part of the Black Robes? They decide to find a replacement stone and bury the real artifact.

They do so and then return to Franches. A big discussion is had. The party debates on whether or not they should destroy the Halco stone and the effects of its destruction or its further existance. They speak of the magical weave which binds the land itself and supports society as it is known. They decide that it is best to destroy the stone, in an effort to thwart the Black Robes's evil plans. They do so. Though Wan is suspicious as to whether or not that was really the stone. They think they're done with this stone.

Little do most of them know, Aeron goes and digs the stone up himself and decides to hold onto it. The party then decides to head west, either to return home and escape this tumultous(sp?) life or try to SAVE THE WORLD. Though it may be too late to forget it all anyway.
