To the west right? That's their only choice. If they want to go home--west. If they want to find out more about the Shadow Army--west. So it's west.

Westward! Our party, finally reunited, finally in their own bodies, finally with a common goal is headed somewhere. They follow the roads. They figure it would be best to get to the Sea of Fallen Stars, so that's where they head.

They get back to Mulsantir. They need to cross the waterway. They go to the ferry. They get on. They're about halfway across the waterway when their ferryman stops the boat, turns and says, "Your time has come, rebels. This is where your story ends." And a big battle begins as another ferry pulls aside the original and warriors hop across to attack our party.

The battle rages on the ferry. Warriors fall into the water to their deaths, others valiantly fight until they can no longer stand. It's great stuff. During the battle, Karn jumps ship. He seems to converse with one of the bad guys and then they hop into a canoe and leave. It seems Karn has decieved our party. He really isn't on the side of good. The fight ends, our heroes prevail once again.

Immediately another traveler pulls himself aboard. He introduces himself as Walsh. He says that he saw the battle from shore and is here to help. He is a young cleric who has always wanted to get out and do some good for the world. He's tired of hanging around town reading religious books and practicing his fencing. The party is like, what the heck. Who is this guy? What's he going to do with us? Bleh. But they allow him to join in. He sure seems like a nice, gentle guy. And maybe they'll need his help.

So after the battle on the raft, everyone keeps on heading west. They pass through numerous small towns until eventually they run into a town overrun with fliers saying to contact a man called Selmer. These fliers say: "The time has come! We must rise! The Armies of Shadow cannot be allowed to prevail! Join the rebellion now!" The party is like, whatever. But after a couple more encounters with these green armored rebellion leaders, they decide that they must check this out. They find that the rebellion is led by Roet and that something big is going down in Cimbar, to the south.

Walsh chimes in as well. He says that he has learned of a great conflict. One that has been known to tear apart the lands of Faerun. That the great armies of the Drow, under their Queen Lolth, desire to bring chaos to the land. They fight the armies of Lathander, the Morninglord, who is surprisingly represented by (my gosh!) green armored warriors with sun branded sheilds. So they're off to Cimbar, they guess. But this is turning into a big deal, isn't it?
